Chief minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif announced 1KV Solar Systems for the 50,000 Households in Punjab. It is announced in “light without electricity bill: Chief minister Roshan Punjab program” meeting.

In the first phase of solar panel scheme electricity consumer who consume up to 100 units in a month can apply for this scheme.
What will included in solar panel scheme in Punjab?
In 1KV solar system, two solar panels, battery, inverter, and wires will be given to the eligible consumer.
What can be run on 1kw solar panel?
1KW solar system can make enough power for 2 fans, 4-5 lights, small motor or any small appliances like Juicer, laptop, computer. With battery backup it can work upto 16 hours based on consumption in home.
